Service was fantastic but the food was just lacking from apps to entrees, my wife had the angel hair pasta and said it was fine.

I highly recommend the crepes which were so delicious. It turned out this was her third day on the job. It took at least 5 minutes to get a soda and some bread came 30 seconds before the food. The wine was warm, the portions small, the plating poor, the food mediocre, waitress non-attentive and stressed (but could you blame her w a failing kitchen?) Nice outdoor space and felt very safe. We ordered off the fixed price Restaurant week menu only to be told 10 minutes later that they were out of that entree. Ahi Tuna was not fresh and had to return it back to the kitchen. the restaurant is right on the square and there is seating outside as well and the waitress was very attentive and funny.Outstanding. Good spot for lunch, good food, friendly service and reasonable prices. I did not stiff her on the tip, gave a normal (17%) amount for. We sat at one of the 2 indoor window tables in the dining room and watched everyone walking by.

The Plaza Bistro an eatery in a historic building on the Square in downtown Sonoma. I asked for mashed potatoes and they served me scalloped potatoes and told me they were potatoes.
