Bayonetta is an upcoming 2020 3D Japanese-American dark fantasy/horror film based on the Video Game series of the same name by Nintendo, Sega, and PlatinumGames.

Bayo isn't a platform holder IP. So, whatever.2. I don’t think saying no is gonna hurt Nintendo’s relationship with Platinum since Nintendo took a risk helping them with Bayonetta 2.Some of the comments in here are pretty questionable. Without Nintendo, Bayonetta 2 or 3 wouldn't exist so I hope Nintendo holds firm saying the Umbra Witch is exclusive to Mario's house!

Then port it to PS5 and Series X in four or five years.I don't think this would be possible a few years ago, but with how the relationship has developed between Nintendo and Microsoft, I would not be shocked if they came to some kind of agreement where they allow Bayonetta to be released on Xbox in exchange for another title that was previously exclusive to Xbox to be released on Switch.Sega owns the actual IP for this (that means all the games are owned by Sega) and the publishing rights to the first game.Nintendo owns the publishing rights to the second and third game.Nintendo goes to Sega to get a contract signed to have the 3rd game made exclusively for their hardware, most likely before the Switch even launched.Sega then goes to Platinum games to have them develop the game as they did with the first two. When the game is ready Nintendo will then step in and publish the game as per the contract they signed. To be clear, Platinum owns none of the rights for the property in any capacity whatsoever. Not saying this can't happen but it isn't really Platinum's place to discuss it.However it probably isn't as clear as that, certainly for Bayonetta 1 it probably is, but 2 and 3 will be a different story as per whatever contract Nintendo worked out with Sega. I believe in more games for everyone, but since Nintendo put up money to see this franchise not die (plus the smash rep) I hope they get a cut for every sale if these games go multiplatform. This is an actual gaming culture name.Tell Nintendo to put that money there, see what happens.I think part 2 and part 3 will remain exclusives unless Nintendo's part in financing it was lower than we anticipated. For me, I'll remain with the series on Nintendo platforms. Veuillez réessayerMalheureusement, nous n'avons pas réussi à enregistrer votre vote.

And that would never happen, since Bayonetta 2 was actually a very successful game, and Nintendo funded two games of the franchise.Nintendo payed for the last 2 - so they can set the rules. I just can't put my finger on it.

If they wanted to release Bayonetta 3 on all devices then why the hell did they sign the agreement with Nintendo? All I can say is good luck. Not sure about ps4.As long as Platinum continue to bring amazing games to Nintendo platforms, I don't really care if they're exclusive or not.Insightful and agreed.

Bloody Fate was the first piece of Bayonetta media to be voiced in Japanese, as opposed to the first game being voiced exclusively by an English cast. Nintendo should just buy platinumI can understand that if they are trying to take Bayonetta to the next gen level. By Jordan Oloman 31 March 2020. Bayonetta deserves way more and wayyyy better then what Nintendo audience gives her, cause its an amazing game, but clearly you can't look past Zelda and Pokemon which is really sad.
