As I get older, I tend toward reading gritty and dark novels of both sci-fi and fantasy. If you like the setting, grim dark fantasy, then you should like the books, for the most part. There are a lot of different authors and some of them are better than others. It follows the High Elves and the Dwarfs way before Sigmar, as mankind was hardly past the levels of cavemen (iirc).
