Most supervisors are young and have very little experience from the field.. the Water Dept has a buddy hiring system.Working for the citizens of Fort Worth gives me great satisfaction and there is always the opportunities for career growth within the many different departments of the city.Golf Department is ran by 1 person and that person does whatever he wants.

The City Council along with several city boards and commissions, especially the Zoning Commission, make decisions on land uses, compatibility and other zoning matters.
