The golf course is beautiful with excellent fairways and greens. We had a room facing the lake, on the ground level where you walked right out and there was the lake - just an absolutely gorgeous place. Boating at Inn of the Mountain Gods is weather permitted and prices vary from anywhere between $20-$40 depending on boat type and length of ride.
Recognized at the time as the highest in the U.S. at 11,500 feet and one of the longest. Zip line, was great, lol. The bed was super comfortable.
This resort is in a mountain area, with a beautiful setting and stunning views. Swimming pool and spa, great. I would love to go back and hope to be able to stay there again sometime soon.My credit cad was charged two days before check in which caused major problems since I did not plan to use my card for the second room. I went to the pool and it was the perfect temperature, with warm jets of water pulsing at several places in the pool - the pool area had the biggest, nicest hot tub you could ever desire. IF we see him behind that bar again we will go to one of the other lounges in the hotel. While the majestic trip takes three minutes reaching speeds of 30+ mph, the memories will last a lifetime. At Ski Apache, the Inn’s sister resort, thrill-seekers can hike and mountain bike through the lush mountains and ride the Apache Wind Rider ZipTour, one of the highest zip line tours in the world. Every aspect of the hotel from dining to bars is a nice experience EXCEPT, when the bar tender Kyle is working at Arrowhead Tap Room.
Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino: The Zip Line across the lake is a Must Do! We live two hours away in a big city and we enjoy going to The Inn to relax and take some much needed time off from busy schedules. Golf is truly a great experience.
