Your trip to Marylebone Village in London will not be complete without a visit to Trishna and I am confident that you will thank me later. Dishes displayed on a la carte menus are representative of the type of food available at the restaurant. Once you have placed your order, a selection of papadums with two chutneys will be offered to you whilst you wait for dishes to arrive. It is a world away from the curry houses of Brick Lane in Whitechapel and provides something a little bit different to what one may expect of how Indian food can be prepared, presented and tasted.

As the brainchild of chef proprietor Karam Sethi, the refurbished Michelin star restaurant serves regional dishes from South West India with seasonal British ingredients. Awarded a Michelin Star in September 2012, Trishna is found in the heart of London's upmarket Marylebone Village, and delivers an innovative twist on Indian coastal cuisine. Placing Indian cuisine now firmly on the fine dining map is Trishna, located at 15–17 Blandford Street, Marylebone Village in London. Our favorite restaurant in London! The dishes are mouth-watering and delectable. Recommended for Trishna changes the way people perceive and experience Indian food, so it is no wonder that the opportunity to experience the eclectic and exciting coastal Indian cuisine on offer is in demand. If you wish to consume alcohol with your meal, wine pairings for all dishes have been provided in the menu; the sommelier will also be thrilled to help and explain each wine to you. In the alternative, if you would prefer a non-alcoholic drink, then please do note that Trishna delivers some exceptional Indian drinks including its rose petal lassi, which is a milk infused with rose petal (5.50 GBP/ 7 USD) or its Shalimar Garden which is a combination of guava juice, elderflower and fresh lemonade (6.50 GBP/8 USD). Puja Modha has trained as a lawyer, worked as a compliance officer and is an experienced travel journalist that enjoys writing about her experiences across the world. I would recommend that you make a booking in advance as this restaurant is hugely popular so the likelihood of walking-in without a reservation and obtaining a table is very rare. Overseen by executive chef Sajeev Nair, the Trishna menu delivers an innovative twist on Indian coastal cuisine. Whilst the price of an experience at Trishna is not inexpensive, I would have to say that it is worth visiting and especially if you’re looking for an elevated experience to the Indian culinary scene. Unfortunately we noticed a marked change - dishes less flavoursome and service not as sharp It was my partner's birthday. Trishna is one of few halal Indian Michelin stared restaurants in London and has been on my list for a long time. Trishna didn't disappoint; the service was swift and professional and the food was exceptional. It's also a bit loud it would be great if there was a way to fix this so you can talk in a relax manner. Every time we visit London, we have to visit! The Trishna team was absolutely brilliant :) They even got me a mini cake for my birthday! One thing that I would change...please please revisit the drinks price..it's exhorbitant that the cheapest wine is 40 pounds (for a bottle of wine that in a Spanish supermarket is 8 euros).

Ready to see a snapshot of the experience that you could enjoy? The wait staff are very cordial and provide impeccable and attentive service throughout. My only regret was that I couldn't finish it all . If so, please do read on and be mindful that you will be itching to visit soon.As you approach Trishna, you will note that it has some outdoor dining and that its terrace doors open up onto the street. 15-17 Blandford Street Everything that you eat at Trishna will be phenomenal, whether it be vegetarian or non vegetarian (confirmed by my fellow dining companion).
