I came early February and it was beautifully green. It such a great drive thru experience. He responded within minutes to schedule a visit to my house. They also have a variety of souvenirs and anything you would seek at a normal gift shop.There was nothing wrong with the store. It's a short 2 miles upstream from the visitors center and is open 8am to dusk all year long. The hike from parking lot to Little Yosemite is about 2 miles. I'm so Waited about 10 minutes to go inside due to limited capacity during Covid-19.

Yosemite Village is a respite away from rough, freezing weather=34-degrees Fahrenheit at 8:00 AM in the morning--BRRRR~then, the radical weather shift from Wawona to a super-shockingly warm 85-degrees Fahrenheit at Yosemite Village (WOT!!!!!) When Pijke stayed at our campsites he left behind his very expensive tent poles. 2 sandwiches, 2 beers and a bag of chips for $18.A pretty awesome grocery store and gift shop in the middle of Yosemite, and the prices are about the same as in a So Yosemite is pretty much my happy place and I went into the Village Store looking for my next Yosemite t-shirt. Parking was really easy here - it costs $5 and I feel like there's no way around it. One last push up switchbacks brings us to the west end of Little Yosemite Valley and the top of Nevada Fall with spectacular views back down the canyon.
This store carries anything you will need and more. I hiked the Indian Joe Creek to Cave Rocks to High Valley Road to Flag Hill Road, which is a loop trail with a good amount of shade, at least in the first half. I decided on a whim to call the Village Store, they had good hours of operation and would likely be open when the cyclist arrived. Had the place to myself and watched the sunset.
