I'm not a fan of US humour. Hosted by Rebel Wilson, 10 top Australian comedians battle it out to see who can keep a straight face while trying to make the others laugh. This is more a psychological experiment with various comedians as victims... oops I mean subjects.
I love Rebel Wilson, and I think she's hilarious, and a great person, even though I don't like most of the stuff she's in - especially those US films that she does. One comedian in particular tensly awaits the severity of his violation - will it be a yellow card or a red card?.A shock elimination leaves only three comedians standing, and to increase the pressure, Rebel launches a "zombie" into the game room to shake things up..It’s a no holds barred final assault on the senses as the two surviving comedians go head to head for the last grueling 30 minutes of the game. A lot of dick jokes, anything for a laugh. But I'm glad she did it and got paid, lol Making other performers break can be very funny, as Whose Line Is it Anyway so frequently demonstrated, and doing it in a contest format also works, as Impractical Jokers has demonstrated. 9 of 14 people found this review helpful. Shock value alone does not equal comedy. New props are brought out and an Australian icon makes an appearance..As we approach half-way point of the game, Rebel Wilson has her eye on every comedian, careful not to miss even the tiniest chuckle. Anne Edmonds resorts to blue punchlines. Helpful.

Was this review helpful to you? I really looked forward to some truly entertaining stunts and inspired comedy! Then there’s the Indeed, a kind of mass hysteria overtakes this group as they descend into madness, making for bizarre viewing.Wilson has the cushiest gig of all, laughing from inside her billionaire’s ‘penthouse’ as observer and umpire of proceedings. I think they were laughing at their own jokes more often than I was. Charlie finds her world upside down when she suddenly becomes a target on Reapr and hires the only person she is able to afford: Vita, the lowest-rated bodyguard on the Dfend app. Bear in mind, this is full of profanity, so if that's not you, don't watch.
