A group of counterprotesters arrived at a “Back the Blue” rally in Berthoud on Sunday, but there were no serious altercations.Former Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputy Ryan Armagost organized the rally to show support for the law enforcement officers in Berthoud.“It’s one of the most thankless jobs out there and I know how that can wear on people,” he said about being in law enforcement.He intended it to be a small local gathering, but after he made a Facebook event it quickly attracted interest from hundreds of people.
