Not sure if you will be in San Jose or Alajuela, as the SJO airport is in Alajuela. Lunch and dinner was average - food was bland and not worth the price- better off not doing the tour package and eating at one of the restaurants at the springs The bus was OK overall not great but not awful but the microphone and sound system were substandard. !The volcano was a bit under whelming as you only see it from far away but the view is beautiful and you can take lots of nice photos. Spa treatments are not included and are payable directly at the resort.

There are restrooms and showers in the guest facilities atop the cliff, along with a restaurant and gift shop. On the other hand, there were 2 factors that we found extremely disappointing.
