A wonderful, humorous, light-hearted film where the actors' characterizations are confidently and professionally executed, bringing to life a well written script that keeps me mesmerized all the way through time and again.

The director has actually made it possible for the audience to care about the characters, and the Irish tone that runs throughout the film adds to its unique and quirky charm.

The scenery of Ireland and getting to see Amy Adams and Matthew Goode act in this movie made it all the more appealing. The people are recognizably those in the real world, unlike the odd paper cut outs that people most films. Anna declares her change of heart to Declan in his bar restaurant, but horror upon horrors, as she waits for his answer he suddenly walks away without uttering a word, leaving her standing, embarrassed, in the middle of the restaurant with guests gazing on. Inspired by an Irish tradition that allows women to propose to men on Leap Day, Anna follows Jeremy (Adam Scott) to Dublin to propose to him.

Whilst it is in English I find adding the subtitle on as well increases its enjoyment when speech is going a bit too fast for me to understand. From the start, you can predict the plotline and the ending, but there are obviously events you see that you couldn't have known would be in there - and these are the funny bits.
