Rose takes psychotic meds and has trouble with the house with a history. She lives with her brother who is very ill. She spends all day taking care of her brother. The journal implies that Rachel was held captive against her will. Soon Rose meets her next door neighbor Leila Markby (Jenessa Grant) and she learns about the tragic disappearance of the teenager Rachel that was sheltered by the previous owner of her house, Cheri Garrison (Claire Calarco) and her son Marcus (Michael Luckett).

Marcus is taken away by ambulance. Rose additionally learns from Noah that Marcus’ mother Cheri also disappeared without explanation shortly thereafter. But it does take you back to that first preview you'd seen, so many months back, when you first decided you needed to see the film. The Intruders has little going for it. This Seasons full ratings Was this review helpful? Eduardo Sánchez and Daniel Stamm share directing duties. What I do want to say is our beautiful beyond belief protagonist Rose is not the usual weak helpless woman like in other similar films in the genre.
Rose becomes suspicious of Howard when she spies him loading a large bag and a shovel into his truck during the night.

Lame, routine horror about intruders that appear to have no faces. Rose manages to stab Marcus with a glass shard and flees. She has dreams, hears noises, sees stuff move, has issue with the neighbors, stuck doors, and a doll's head that likes the view in different rooms of the house. The anticipation of the curtains rising and that first glimmer of light as the projector is turned on. When he is around, dad’s purpose is to bounce back Rose’s Chicken Little claims of conspiracies and ghostly activity with patronizing protestations along the lines of, “it’s all in your head, sweetie.” Dad is not so much a character as he is an obligatory hurdle. boyfriend says shes stupid.

The camera switches to shaky handheld for those hectic moments when Rose might be acting “crazy.” A conveniently discovered necklace links the three key ladies in the story. The house they moved to has a history, a girl who lived there, called Rachel, went missing and was never found. Rose begins seeing a discarded doll head around the house.

As the piece becomes more “Saw” than “Panic Room,” the characters disappear and we’re left with too little to hold on to. Intrudersis about character named Anna. Thus the move to a new city and new house, to get a fresh start. Did she really have this condition or was she faking it? It's definitely not horror or a thriller. It still is a entertaining thriller to watch.If you are looking for gore and violence in the movie, you’ll be disappointed. Rose is then knocked unconscious while running from someone inside her house. Rose has gone through some traumatic mental issues due to her mother's death. After recovering, Rose researches the home’s original blueprints and finds a secret panel in the basement floorboards. Marcus catches Rose upstairs, but Jerry returns home and knocks Marcus off his daughter. As the seeming paranormal activity continues, Rose comes to believe that Cheri was involved in some sort of conspiracy and that someone is trying to tell her something about what really happened in the house. Rest of the movie turns into exciting thriller with surprise twists. It kept me glued to the screen from the time it started til' the end. Stories about people with mental issues simply don't work. First surprise is the fact that she suffer from agoraphobia and can’t leave the house.
