The story was very good over all, A great build up for the origins of Robert, we get to know why and how he became this way and the acting & effects were decent. its not normal for the third film in a series to be the best one but the toy maker is definitely it. MOVIE. My vote is two. Play. After betrayal from one of his employees the SS raid the Toymaker's shop, stealing the book and kidnapping Amos. The whole sequence of the Nazi officers visiting and searching the house of the poor farmers family lasts over half an hour, not because there is so much to do or show, but just because the head Nazi takes forever and ever in explaining and justify his actions. In 1951 USSR, infamous killer doll Robert battles Stalin's henchmen on board a plane. More please. It it really good for a small production with what they have.

There is no credit song in the end; therefore it is not informed the song that the Toymaker is listening to in the radio (Bessie Smith maybe?). Robert and the Toymaker (2017) Cast. Was this review helpful? The Toymaker, an old man who has acquired a mystical book which he uses to call upon entities to possess the family he created for himself...his dolls. You must be a registered user to use the IMDb rating plugin. So begins a mission to rescue the Toymaker from the clutches of the evil Colonel and exact a brutal and bloody revenge on the Nazis. The pace of this movie is slower than slow, it is as if all the actors are sleep-walking, while pronouncing their elaborate and endless dialogues as distinct as if they are speakers on some congress to an audience that's fighting to stay awake. I thought this film would be a spin off in a way, but it had Robert i it so I took it to be apart of that franchise. Was this review helpful? PREORDER. A solid 6 out of 10 for me.

IMDb: 3.7. It is supposed to be a horror movie and a nowadays horror movie should at least have an adequate pace, some decent scares and convincing CGI. some funny moments especially when the dolls are attacking the Nazis. In … But it escapes and terrorizes the residents of a nearby town. It is hard to believe that this movie dates from 2017, it could as easily have been a product form the sixties or even pre war!
