The Khyber train safari was a tourist train which ran between Peshawar and Landi Kotal through Khyber Pass in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province. There was Grindlays Bank On the Mall and an entry into Lalkurti besides Grindlays Bank was Ferozsons Book Store and one big book Store London Book Depot on Arbab Road next to Capital Cinema in the era of 1959- 1969. During my last visit in March 2016, I found that the city is over-crowded and very poorly maintained streets with lot of smoke and pollution.
