We intentionally planned one day without a guide so we could enjoy just being at Las Terrazas, we had breakfast, watched hummingbirds, went to the hide. We recommend calling ahead to confirm details.
I stayed here in 2019 as well, and I will certainly be back at some point in the future.I’m actually writing this review as I sit on the deck of our cabana having just had some great up close and personal experiences in the last half hour with both green toucanets and aracari toucans. The grounds of Terrazas de Dana are fantastic and there are a multitude of birds coming and going at all times including numerous types of tanager, flycatchers and hummingbirds. Our bungalow was really nice with a balcony overlooking the cloud forest.
